John Oak Dalton, Station Director

John is responsible for the day-to-day operations of WCTV. John has worked in broadcasting, educational media, and information technology for eighteen years, working previously at WXOW-TV, WIPB-TV, and Ball State University. He holds a BS in Telecommunications and an MS in Information and Communication Sciences from Ball State. John Schuerman, Operations Director

John joined Whitewater Community Television in the Summer of 1989. As the organization has grown, John has kept busy with increased programming. Under his direction, WCTV has cultivated enough programming to now support a total of three cable access channels - 11 (government), 20 (educational), and 21 (public access). Part of John's duties are scheduling all programming for cablecast on the appropriate channels; preparing the schedule for publication in the TV-Item located in the Sunday edition of the Richmond Palladium-Item; and administration of the website. Nicholas Poling, Assistant Operations Director

Nick is responsible for program playback as well as working with the Program Director and Station Director on local productions. Nick graduated from Ball State with a degree in Telecommunications, production option, in 2005 and was previously employed at Productive Concepts in Union City as the IT Coordinator and Video Specialist.  Nick has also worked as a freelance videographer and editor with his own company, Midwestern Productions. Diane Lucas, Administrative Coordinator

Diane brings fourteen years of prior experience at IU East to her job as Administrative Coordinator of WCTV, providing excellent support to the staff. Diane enjoys greeting folks who come to the studio, so stop by and say hello.
